PRESS RELEASE
November 2020
Happy Tech Holding has raised US$ 1 million to launch the first tournament concept in about 10 countries, the "World Amateur Match Race."
Today, organising large sports tournaments comes with numerous obstacles and challenges, which make it difficult to operate on a larger scale simply due to the sheer workload.
Happy Tech Holding has built a core solution entirely in the cloud. This solution takes the pain out of tournament organising and admin with a fully-automated solution that makes it possible for any number of teams to participate in the same tournament.
This key benefit alone allows Happy Tech Holding to scale faster, enabling it to capture more global market share and deliver the highest levels of scalability and security.
Our capital secures financing for the expansion we are planning, especially in new markets. We have found investors with long experience and a good track record of growing companies,” says CEO Sten Haakan Aakerlund.
We have built on the solution for over 1 year and got the whole team in place here in Dubai. Despite the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, we intend to launch the first tournament concept now, which will be a good test where we can see the potential, and if our concept holds, Sten Håkan Aakerlund continues.
Happy Tech’s business idea is to put together a unique tournament concept for some of the world’s fastest-growing sports for amateurs worldwide, where everything is administered through its own developed software, which provides all the necessary information to allow simple coordination of match dates and locations.
