Happy Tech is launching another tournament concept, the World Padel Race, which starts in October 2022 and is played until March 2023. It ends with the grand international World Final in Dubai in April 2023.

Padel is one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, with over 25 million players across 57 countries, and the number of players is increasing daily. Padel has grown in popularity due to its high intensity, inclusivity and simplified gameplay, with enclosed courts roughly 25% of a tennis court and games usually played in doubles.

” This tournament concept potential is huge, and I will not be surprised if we already this year have 20,000 entries in this competition alone “, says Sten Haakan Aakerlund, CEO and Founder of Happy Tech Group, which is behind the tournament.”

World Padel Race is for amateur players who are not required to be members of a specific club or centre to join the tournament. The tournament is introduced in 19 countries globally, meaning various rankings, divisions, and categories in each country are different from country to country.

World Padel Race has simplified the categorisation and made three categories: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Small local groups of 5 teams will play a season-long tournament. The best team from the group will qualify for the knockout playoff tournament, where the winning teams will qualify for the international World Final in Dubai in May 2023. This will be a magical Padel experience for all the finalists.

Happy Tech Group has quickly established itself with different tournament concepts in about 20 countries. Everything is administrated through the in-house software that Happy Tech Group developed, which provides all the necessary information to allow simple coordination of match dates and locations.
